Where to get a key or subscription for INCY

Current as of October 6, 2026

A subscription or key for INCY is issued by the service that runs the servers — the INCY developer does not sell VPN access and says so directly on its GitHub page. INCY is a free client built on the Xray core for phones, computers and TVs. It accepts subscriptions and keys in most common formats, WireGuard included.

In short

  • INCY is free and provides no VPN services: the servers and access belong to a service.
  • INCY reads VLESS, VMess, Trojan, Shadowsocks, Hysteria2, SOCKS5, HTTP proxy, WireGuard and AmneziaWG.
  • A subscription for Happ works in INCY: both clients read the same Xray subscription link.
  • The INCY developer does not sell keys. A seller of “official INCY keys” is a scammer.

What INCY connects with and where servers come from

INCY is built on Xray-core — the same core as most clients for VLESS. The app can set up a connection, split traffic by routing rules and cut the internet if the tunnel drops. It has no server list: in the README on GitHub the developer writes that INCY does not provide VPN services and that users are responsible for the servers they connect to.

Servers appear in INCY when you add one of three things:

  • a subscription — a link INCY uses to download and update the service's server list;
  • a key — a link to one server: vless://, trojan://, wireguard:// and others;
  • a configuration file — for example, a WireGuard or AmneziaWG .conf.

Subscription, key or file: what services issue

A subscription is the main format: through it the service replaces servers, announces maintenance and shows remaining traffic. A key and a file are one-off: when the server changes address, you have to get them again. More on key formats — in VPN keys.

Where to get a key for INCY

  • A VPN service. Paid access with a subscription, support and server replacement. For a private user, the main source.
  • An employer. If a company gives employees access to the work network through Xray or WireGuard, the administrator provides the subscription or configuration file.
  • Your own server. A rented server with a management panel — for example, 3X-UI or Remnawave — creates keys and subscription links that INCY accepts directly.

Free keys from open channels will add to INCY but won't last: they are handed to hundreds of people at once, and the server's IP gets blocked within days.

Is a subscription for INCY paid?

The INCY app itself is free.

What a user pays a service for is access to its servers. The service sets the price, term and limits. Refreshing a subscription in INCY reloads the server list and extends nothing.

Does INCY have a trial period

INCY has no trial: there is nothing to pay for in the app. Some services offer trial access to their servers on their own terms — look for them on the specific service's website.

Does a subscription for Happ work in INCY

Yes, if it is a subscription on VLESS or another Xray protocol: Happ and INCY read the same subscription link. INCY also accepts encrypted links in its own incy://crypt1/… format.

The reverse is not always true. INCY reads WireGuard and AmneziaWG; Happ does not. A subscription with such servers will not work in Happ. How it works in Happ — in Where to get a key or subscription for Happ.

How to choose a service for INCY

  • Protocol. INCY takes almost any format, so compatibility is not the main point here. What matters more is how the protocol copes with filtering: TSPU recognises WireGuard by the characteristic look of its packets, while VLESS with Reality looks like an ordinary HTTPS connection.
  • Devices. How many devices at the same time — a phone, a laptop, a TV.
  • Traffic per month, or unlimited.
  • A public offer with the terms on the service's website.
  • A refund and the period in which you can request it.
  • Card charges. Whether the service renews the subscription itself or only when you decide.
  • Contact with support. INCY shows links to the service's support, bot and channel in the subscription card if the service has provided them.

“Official INCY keys” are a fraud

The INCY developer does not sell keys. A bot or channel selling “INCY keys” has nothing to do with the developer. A key from such a seller is a one-off string with no service behind it.

Install INCY only through the developer's links: the App Store, Google Play and releases on the INCY-DEV GitHub. All links are on the INCY page.

Can you share a key

A key gives access to the server in your name. The service counts every device with that key as yours and checks it against your plan's limit. A key you give away reduces your number of devices, and mass sharing ends with the key being blocked.

A subscription added through an encrypted incy://crypt1/… link is passed on by INCY in encrypted form even when you share it again: its address is not shown. For TVs, INCY has a separate transfer from the phone — by QR code or an 8-character code.

A MaskNet subscription for INCY

  • The key is built into the subscription. The subscription is added to INCY with the “Add subscription” button in your account, and to a second phone, tablet or laptop with the QR code from your account. The key is not issued as text. To a TV, the subscription is sent from a phone: open INCY on the TV — it shows a QR code. Scan it in INCY on the phone where the MaskNet subscription is already added.
  • The configuration is encrypted: it cannot be opened, copied or handed out.
  • No registration. All you need at checkout is an email — your account is created on it.
  • No automatic card charges.
  • Refund within 30 days of payment.
  • Works under whitelists.
  • Cascade connection: entry through a MaskNet server in Russia, exit in the chosen location. The operator sees only the connection to the Russian server.
  • 10 locations and 3, 5 or 10 devices on one subscription.

One subscription works in both INCY and Happ.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I get a key for INCY?

From a VPN service, from the administrator of a work network, or in the panel of your own server. The INCY developer does not sell VPN access.

Is INCY free?

Yes. The app is free on every platform. You pay a service — for access to its servers.

Will a subscription for Happ work in INCY?

Yes, if it is a subscription on VLESS or another Xray protocol. INCY and Happ read the same subscription link.

Can I add a WireGuard key to INCY?

Yes. INCY reads wireguard:// links and WireGuard and AmneziaWG .conf files. TSPU recognises WireGuard by the look of its packets, so on mobile internet in Russia such a connection is blocked more often than VLESS.

How do I add a key to INCY?

Press the service's add button, scan a QR code or paste the link from the clipboard. Step by step — in How to add a subscription to INCY.
