About MaskNet
MaskNet is a protected internet connection service. We build a route of our own for your traffic: data is encrypted, websites see our IP instead of yours, and Russian services keep working directly.
A subscription starts at 150 ₽ a month and works on a computer, a phone, a tablet and a TV at the same time.
When you press “connect”, an encrypted channel comes up between your device and the MaskNet servers. From there all traffic goes through it: your provider sees only that you have a connection to us, not what you open.
Russian sites take a different route — they work directly, past MaskNet. That is why banking apps, government services and marketplaces do not make you turn the service off or switch modes by hand.
You choose the location yourself: we have 10 countries across Europe and North America, and you can switch between them as many times as you like.
On subscriptions. That is the only source of income MaskNet has.
There are no ads in the apps, we do not sell statistics, and we do not earn from affiliate programs that push other people's services at you. That model means something simple: our interests and yours are the same. We want the connection to be fast and the subscription renewed, not your attention held on an ad.
Free services work the other way round: development and servers cost someone money, and if that someone is not the user, the money comes from somewhere else.
We do not store your browsing history and we do not pass data about your activity to third parties.
To run a subscription we need the minimum: an email address, payment details and technical data about the state of the connection. What exactly and what for is listed in the data processing policy, without the legal fog.
Server connections up to 10 Gbit/s, 10 locations, modern encryption protocols. The connection comes up through the Happ and INCY apps — the most widely used clients in Russia.
We deliberately do not build an app of our own: ready-made clients update more often, support every platform and do not depend on app store review. It also keeps the Apple and Google commission out of the subscription price — which is why Standard costs 299 ₽ and not 400-plus.
There is no need to register in advance: you enter your email at checkout, install the app and add the subscription with a single button.
