About MaskNet
MaskNet is a secure internet connection service. We build a route of our own for your traffic: data is encrypted, websites see our IP instead of yours, and smart routing sends the traffic of Russian services outside the VPN tunnel.
A subscription starts at 150 ₽ a month and works on a computer, a phone, a tablet and a TV at the same time.
The MaskNet network has been running since 2023. Servers in 10 countries, support answers 24/7 at support@masknet.online — a person replies, not a bot.
When you press “connect”, an encrypted channel comes up between your device and the MaskNet servers. The connection is a cascade: first to a MaskNet server in Russia, then to the location you chose. Your internet provider and mobile operator see only a connection to a Russian server, not what you open or the foreign address.
Russian sites take a different route: smart routing sends their traffic outside the VPN tunnel, and they see your Russian IP. There is no need to turn MaskNet off or switch modes by hand for Gosuslugi, banks and marketplaces.
You choose the location yourself: we have 10 countries across Europe and North America, and you can switch between them as many times as you like.
On subscriptions. That is the only source of income MaskNet has.
There are no ads in the apps, we do not sell statistics, and we do not earn from affiliate programs that push other people's services at you. That model means something simple: our interests and yours are the same. We want the connection to be fast and the subscription renewed, not your attention held on an ad.
Free services work the other way round: development and servers cost someone money, and if that someone is not the user, the money comes from somewhere else.
We do not store your browsing history and we do not pass data about your activity to third parties.
To run a subscription we need the minimum: an email address, payment details and technical data about the state of the connection. What exactly and what for is listed in the data processing policy, without the legal fog.
Server connections up to 10 Gbit/s, 10 locations, modern encryption protocols. The connection comes up through the free Happ and INCY apps.
Happ and INCY run the connection: they update without waiting for store review, and store fees of up to 30% are not built into the price.
There is no need to register in advance: you enter your email at checkout, install the app and add the subscription with a single button.
