Happ
Happ is the main option for Windows and the first choice for most users.
VPN for PC
Download Happ or INCY, add your MaskNet subscription and connect.
Apps
We recommend Happ to most users; INCY works with the same subscription too.
Happ is the main option for Windows and the first choice for most users.
INCY also supports Windows and works with the same subscription.
Happ for Windows is an installer from the developer's official page, linked above. INCY has its own installer and works with the same subscription.
After installation
INCY has its own installer and works with the same subscription. The developer still calls the desktop versions of INCY pre-alpha, so on Windows we recommend Happ.
Open any masknet.online page: the bar at the top says "Your connection is protected by MaskNet". Check my IP shows the same. Then run the leak test: a resolver in Russia in the result is a leak, most often caused by "Use secure DNS" in the browser.
Smart routing sends the traffic of Russian services — Gosuslugi, banks, marketplaces — outside the VPN tunnel: they see your Russian IP, and you don't need to turn MaskNet off.
Your account must be open on the same computer where Happ is installed.
The subscription server is unreachable from your network: switch to another network and refresh again. Turn on automatic date and time — with the clock off, a secure connection cannot be established.
Update Happ: old versions stop connecting to updated servers. Step-by-step checks — in Happ won't connect.
Happ isn't installed on this computer, or the wrong app is. Install Happ from the link above and click "Add subscription" again.
Pick another server in the same country, then another country. If nothing works, disconnect Happ and check the internet without the VPN — see VPN not working.
In INCY it works the same way — the walkthrough is in INCY won't connect.
