About the service

What is MaskNet?

MaskNet is a protected internet connection service. Your traffic is encrypted, websites see our IP instead of yours, and Russian services work directly — there is no need to turn MaskNet off for them. One subscription works on a computer, a phone, a tablet and a TV at the same time.

How is MaskNet different from a regular VPN?

A regular VPN funnels all your traffic into one server, and local services have to be switched on and off by hand. MaskNet builds the route itself: Russian services go direct, everything else goes through an encrypted channel. The infrastructure is our own, nothing is charged to your card automatically, and support answers around the clock.

Is it legal to use MaskNet?

MaskNet encrypts and speeds up your internet connection. Encrypting traffic is an ordinary technology — banks, messengers and companies use it to protect their data. We do not give legal advice; use the service within the law and the terms of use.

How do you make money?

On subscriptions only — that is our single source of income. There are no ads in the apps, we do not sell statistics and we do not earn from affiliate programs. That puts our interests and yours in the same place: we want the connection to be fast so that you renew.

Plans and payment

Which plan should I choose?

Light — for one person: 3 devices and 250 GB of traffic. Standard — for everyday use: 5 devices and unlimited traffic. Family — 10 devices and unlimited traffic, for a household and the TV.

How can I pay?

By bank card, SBP transfer or cryptocurrency. You pay once for the period you choose, with no fees on top of the amount shown. Nothing is charged to your card automatically — you renew by hand or from your in-service balance, if you turn that on yourself.

Is there a trial period?

Yes — 7 days on the Light plan for 99 ₽. You take it out like a regular subscription, through the bot or your account.

Can I change plan?

You can move up — Light → Standard → Family — at any time from your account, paying the difference for the days left on your subscription. Moving to a lower plan before the paid term ends is not possible.

Devices and connecting

Which devices does it work on?

Windows, macOS, Linux, iPhone and iPad, Android, TVs and set-top boxes. One subscription works on several devices at once — 3, 5 or 10 depending on the plan.

What are Happ and INCY?

Happ and INCY are the apps MaskNet runs through; the service has no app of its own. Both do the same thing and take the same subscription. Install Happ by default, and INCY if Happ does not start on your device.

How many devices can I connect?

Light — 3 devices, Standard — 5, Family — 10. Your account lists every connected device: remove the ones you do not need to free up a slot, and rename the rest so you can tell them apart.

How do I connect after paying?

Enter your email at checkout — an account is created on it automatically. Download Happ or INCY, add the subscription with a button from your account or by QR code, and press “Connect”. There is nothing to copy.

Everyday use

Do Russian banks and government services work?

Yes. Russian services — banks, government services, marketplaces — go direct, past MaskNet, so there is no need to turn the service off or switch modes by hand. Their traffic does not count against your plan's limit.

How the route works — on the “About MaskNet” page

How many locations are available?

Ten countries: the Netherlands, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, France, the United Kingdom, Poland, Czechia and the United States. Every location comes with every plan, and you can switch between them as many times as you like.

What do I do if the speed drops?

Start by checking your speed with MaskNet off: the cause is often your internet provider or your Wi-Fi. Locations differ in latency, so it is worth comparing a couple of countries — the nearest is not always the fastest. If everything is slow, write to support from your account and we will look at what is happening on your route.

Where do I write if I have a question?

If you are already connected — open a ticket in your account, support answers around the clock. If you are still choosing — write to support@masknet.online.
