How whitelists work

MaskNet encrypts and speeds up your internet connection. Encrypting traffic is an ordinary technology — banks, messengers and companies use it to protect their data. We do not give legal advice; use the service within the law and the terms of use.

On subscriptions only — that is our single source of income. There are no ads in the apps, we do not sell statistics and we do not earn from affiliate programs. That puts our interests and yours in the same place: we want the connection to be fast so that you renew.

Light — for one person: 3 devices and 250 GB of traffic. Standard — for everyday use: 5 devices and unlimited traffic. Family — 10 devices and unlimited traffic, for a household and the TV.

By bank card, SBP transfer or cryptocurrency. You pay once for the period you choose, with no fees on top of the amount shown. Nothing is charged to your card automatically — you renew by hand or from your in-service balance, if you turn that on yourself.

Yes. If MaskNet isn't right for you, contact support within 30 days of payment and we'll refund the unused days of your subscription.

You can move up — Light → Standard → Family — at any time from your account, paying the difference for the days left on your subscription. Moving to a lower plan before the paid term ends is not possible.

Happ and INCY are the apps MaskNet runs through; the service has no app of its own. Both do the same thing and take the same subscription. Install Happ by default, and INCY if Happ does not start on your device.

Yes. Smart routing sends the traffic of Russian services — Gosuslugi, banks, marketplaces — outside the VPN tunnel: they see your Russian IP, and there is no need to turn MaskNet off. Their traffic does not count against your plan's limit.

How the route works — on the “About MaskNet” page

MaskNet uses a cascade connection: your device connects to a MaskNet server in Russia, and that server connects to the location you chose. Your operator sees only a connection to a Russian server, with no foreign address in your traffic. So a foreign-traffic fee does not apply to the MaskNet connection.

What is known about the international traffic fee

10 countries: the Netherlands, Finland, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Poland, Czechia and the United States. Every location comes with every plan, and you can switch between them as many times as you like.

Start by checking your speed with MaskNet off: the cause is often your internet provider or your Wi-Fi. Locations differ in latency, so it is worth comparing a couple of countries — the nearest is not always the fastest. If everything is slow, write to support from your account and we will look at what is happening on your route.

Nothing you need to do. Each location has several servers and availability is checked every 20 seconds: if a server fails, traffic switches to another one automatically. The network has no single point of failure.
