Happ for Mac is a .dmg image from the developer's official page; installing from .dmg requires macOS 13 or later. INCY has two builds, Apple Silicon and Intel — pick the one for your Mac's processor.
After installation
Connect your MaskNet subscription
- Install Happ from the link above.
- Open your account on this computer and press “Add subscription” — Happ opens on its own.
- Choose a country and press the connect button.

What you need
- A Mac with macOS 13 or later — to install Happ from the
.dmgimage. - An active MaskNet subscription. Don't have one yet — choose a plan.
- For INCY, your Mac's processor: Apple Silicon or Intel. It is shown in Apple menu → "About This Mac".
Installing Happ on a Mac
- Download the
.dmgimage from the link above — it leads to the developer's official page. - Open the image and drag Happ into the Applications folder.
- Open your MaskNet account in a browser on this Mac and click "Add subscription" — Happ opens with the subscription already added.
- Pick a country and connect. If macOS asks to allow adding a VPN configuration, allow it — the tunnel won't come up without it.
The developer still calls the desktop versions of INCY pre-alpha, so on a Mac we recommend Happ.
How to check that it works
Open Check my IP: with a working connection it says "Your connection is protected by MaskNet". Then run the leak test. A resolver in Russia in the result is a leak: check DNS in macOS network settings and "Use secure DNS" in the browser.
Smart routing sends the traffic of Russian services — Gosuslugi, banks, marketplaces — outside the VPN tunnel: they see your Russian IP, and you don't need to turn MaskNet off.
If something went wrong
Not sure which INCY build to take+
The processor is shown in the Apple menu → “About This Mac”.
The subscription does not refresh, Timeout error+
Switch networks and refresh again; turn on automatic date and time.
“Connected”, but the internet does not work+
Press “Check current connection”; on “Timeout”, pick another server in the same country.
Happ won't install on an older Mac+
Installing from the .dmg needs macOS 13 or later. Update the system if your Mac supports it.
